Silk Pieces
I am lucky to be the recipient of silk offcuts from wedding dresses and gather any silk remnants that come my way. I dye these using procion dyes which produces fabulous bright coloured fabric – various types of silk in various sizes often triangular pieces from trimming the hem. I treasure these scraps and use them sparingly. Some of the pieces created are shown below

Korean Delight
This small wallhanging is 100% silk including front, back, wadding and thread.
Bojagi is the Korean art of wrapping cloths. This Jogakbo form is handstitched using a Garumsol (or whipstitch) stitch. It incorporates BakGi Mae Dup (Bat) knots and Settum Sangchim decorative stitches.
