I am lucky to be the recipient of silk offcuts from wedding dresses and gather any silk remnants that come my way. I dye these using procion dyes which produces fabulous bright fabric. I treasure these scraps of oddly shaped, different types of silk and use them sparingly. Some of the pieces created are shown below. All are made out of 100% silk (except in some cases the wadding).
